Welcome to my self-introduction blog post. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the world of blogging. My name is, Dr. Reva Israel. I was born in Chicago, Illinois. At a very young age, I moved with my Mom and sister to a small town called New Brighton, Pennsylvania. I joined the USAF at the age of eighteen. I retired in 2010, after serving twenty years, five months, and fifteen days. I relocated from Clovis, New Mexico to Tampa, Florida.

I obtained a doctorate in Business Administration, from Argosy University in 2017. I attempted to go back fulltime into the workforce after I became a doctor. God, had other plans for me. I got fired for the first time in my life from a job that I was overqualified for. That is another story in itself. I was Spirit-led, to get a certification to be a Christian Spiritual Life Coach/Life Coach in 2018.

After completing the six-month certification program. I was excited to work for a company as a Christian Spiritual Life Coach. Once again, God had other plans. He wanted me to have my own life coaching business. He even gave me the name of the business. Getting To The Root. Those of you, who have a close intimate relationship with God.  His plan for our lives always tends to have surprising twists and turns.

He revealed to me, that He wanted me to create a blog to share my testimony and let the world know how He is transforming my life every day. He also put it upon my heart, to share with others what I have been taught throughout my spiritual journey, to help others get a better understanding of what is hindering them from experiencing life in abundance.

Hosea 4:6 is a scripture, that God kept putting on my heart. God said, His people are destroyed due to a lack of knowledge. I will be used as a vessel by God to help share the knowledge and wisdom that I obtained from God. I will also share information from people that God has placed in my life to teach me about spiritual things.

Let me put out a disclaimer. I do not know everything and will never say that I do. God not only, gave me the gift of teaching. He has also given me a strong desire to learn from Him and others.

What I Love To Share

Since I am a Christian Spiritual Life Coach. I will be sharing information from a spiritual perspective. I am aware that everyone does not have the same spiritual perspective. I know that everyone is not at the same level in spiritual maturity. I pray that as we go on this journey together. We will be able to grow together and learn together.

My topics will align with what God puts on my heart to discuss and will align with the Word of God. Just to name a few; I will have topics that discuss the spiritual realm, unclean spirits, deliverance, healing, and generational curses, etc. I will not be focusing on other religions too much. If someone wants to comment or ask questions about that. I will try my best to answer if God puts it on my heart to do so.

I also love to share my own experiences of how God helped me to get to the root of why I was going through the same negative cycles throughout my life. To help my audience understand from my testimony that I had situations in my life, that I had no control over and that some of my own decisions triggered spiritual uncleanness in my life that led me down a path of destruction that almost took my life before I stepped into my divine purpose. That is to be a co-laborer with my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ, said in Luke 4:18 KJV “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed;” He also said in John 14:12 KJV “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” Lastly, Jesus said this; Matthew 9:37 KJV “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few;”

God is looking for willing vessels to go out and bring the harvest in. I have stepped out from the crowd and said. Lord, send me!
