“Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:” – Deuteronomy 28:45 KJV

 Here are some things that Robert Henderson mentions in his teaching on curses that you should know about what curses will do  in your life:

• They will build a stronghold in your life.
• If curses are not dealt with, the curse will have an affect on everything.
  • It will bring defilement to you and your family
• If you are not diligent a curse can come back.
  • The Bible talks about when a demon leaves; he will come back with 7 more worse than him.
    • “Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.” – Matthew 12:45
  • Demons will always try to come back.
  • They will be able to come back if they have discovered a legal way for them to gain entry back into your life.
• They will weaken us.
  • “Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blesses is blessed, and he whom thou curses is cursed.” – Numbers 22:6 KJV
  • When we are brought to places of weakness; curses will have a better chance at defeating us.
• They are aggressive.
  • 1 Kings addresses how a family line was destroyed.
  • Satan wants to use curses to take away the purpose of your family line.
  • Satan would like to destroy the whole family line to keep it from expanding the Kingdom of God.
  • A poverty spirit will be used by Satan to keep a family line from obtaining great wealth.
  • Satan will use issues in your family history as a legal issue that will stop you from coming into wealth that has been assigned to your family line.
