Emotional Wounds

Are you dealing with emotional wounds that are hindering you from moving forward in your life? This exercise may help you begin to release yourself from the emotional wounds that currently have you in bondage.

  • Have some paper and a pen.
  • Remove yourself from any distractions.
  • Reflect back over your life, including your childhood.
  • List everything that comes to mind
    • Examples : rejection, abandonment, rape, addiction, divorce, unforgiveness, bitterness
  • Once you complete your list. Begin to pray and ask God to help you heal from those emotional wounds.
  • Look up scriptures that focus on healing and read the scriptures as often as needed to help you begin to heal from the emotional wounds.
  • As you go through the process of praying and reading the scriptures, you will begin to feel the heaviness of those emotional wounds being lifted off of you.
